Better Sleep Starts With the Right Support

Sleep challenges can affect the entire household. Whether you are preparing for your newborn, navigating frequent night wakings, struggling with naps, or trying to establish a more predictable bedtime routine, you do not have to figure it out alone.
The Modern Help offers personalized sleep consulting designed around your child, your family, and your goals.
Together, we will look at the full picture of your child’s sleep, identify what may be getting in the way, and create a practical plan you can feel confident implementing at home.

Individualized guidance
Sleep Support for Every Stage
Every child sleeps differently, which means there is no single sleep plan that works for every family.
Your child’s age, temperament, sleep environment, daily schedule, routines, sleep associations, developmental stage, and your own parenting preferences all matter.
That is why my approach begins with understanding your family first.
From establishing healthy newborn sleep habits to navigating bedtime resistance, nap transitions, and night wakings in older children, you will receive clear, personalized guidance designed to help you create sustainable sleep habits that work for your household.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Sleep Support
Some children need a more individualized approach to sleep.
I offer modified sleep plans for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other neurodevelopmental needs. These plans take into account the additional factors that may affect sleep, including sensory preferences, communication differences, regulation needs, rigidity around routines, transitions, anxiety, and differences in how a child processes their environment.
Rather than forcing a child into a standard sleep-training model, I adapt strategies to the individual child.
The goal is to create a sleep plan that is practical, respectful, developmentally appropriate, and supportive of the child’s nervous system and unique needs.
Depending on your child, recommendations may include adjustments to:
- Bedtime routines and transitions
- Visual schedules and predictability
- Sensory supports within the sleep environment
- Communication and reinforcement strategies
- Parent presence and gradual fading approaches
- Night waking responses
- Sleep associations
- Schedule and environmental modifications
If your child is neurodivergent or has additional developmental or sensory needs, please share that during the intake process so your plan can be tailored accordingly.

Sleep Is About More Than Getting Through the Night
Healthy sleep supports a child’s development, mood, learning, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
And when children sleep better, the entire family often functions better.
My goal is not simply to hand you a generic schedule or tell you what your child “should” be doing.
It is to help you understand your child’s sleep, identify what is contributing to the challenge, and give you practical tools you can continue using as your child grows.
Personalized. Practical. Supportive.
You know your child better than anyone.
My role is to bring the sleep expertise, education, and strategy while working with you to create an approach that makes sense for your child and your household.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what is happening, what to change, and exactly what to do next.
